Bob Moore
Bob Moore is Vice President and Chief Engineer at Quandel Consultants. Over the past 25 years, he has worked closely with the FTA, FRA, freight railroads, state DOTs and transit agencies to plan and design transit, commuter, intercity passenger and freight rail infrastructure. His experience includes planning, project management, design engineering and construction support for civil work, track, and systems. Key projects include Chicago-St Louis and Chicago Detroit high speed rail corridors, the Chicago-Quad Cites Passenger Rail Project, Seoul Subway, Minneapolis Hiawatha LRT, and Chicago’s CREATE program. Bob is licensed as a professional engineer in Illinois and Michigan. He is an active member of AREMA’s Committee 17: High Speed Rail Systems and represented APTA on the FRA’s Rail Safety Advisory Committee. He is a graduate of Princeton University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering and received his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh.
