Bill offers over forty-five years of experience in the management, operation and maintenance of passenger and freight railroads. As a consultant he has worked domestically and abroad with dozens of freight and commuter railroads, and transit agencies to optimize train performance, implement standard operating procedures and improve safety performance. Most recently he has provided passenger and freight operations planning, analysis of RTC results and definition of needed infrastructure as well as construction oversight inspection services for the development of commuter, intercity and high-speed passenger rail corridors in the Midwest. Prior to working as a consultant, Bill spent twenty-three years with the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad including managing C&NW’s Chicago Commuter Service.
