Jeff Bucholc
Jeff Bucholc is the Director of Structural Engineering at Quandel Consultants. He has almost 30 years of experience in the inspection, design, rehabilitation and construction of both fixed and moveable railroad and highway bridges, airport bridges and tunnels, and complex earth retention systems. His principal responsibilities include client relations, marketing, and overseeing the preparation of contract documents (PS&E).
As an IDOT approved Bridge Program Manager, he leads the inspections of both simple and complex bridges, performs condition assessments, feasibility studies and reporting. Jeff is responsible for developing cost effective solutions to complex staging issues, where minimizing client down time is a significant consideration and driving force within a project. His design skills are complemented by his experiences as a resident engineer and construction project manager.
