Case Description

Project Description

Quandel provided planning and engineering services for the Milwaukee-Twin Cities corridor including preparing a project work plan, a purpose and need document, attending public involvement meetings, and completing a three tiered Alternatives Analysis of more than 25 possible passenger rail routes between the cities.

Services Provided

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
  • Planning Quandel Consultants served as consultant to Minnesota DOT and Wisconsin DOT for the Milwaukee-Twin Cities High- Speed Rail Corridor Program, a proposed 350-mile high-speed passenger rail line between Milwaukee, WI and Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN. Quandel completed an Alternatives Analysis that identified a set of "reasonable and feasible" passenger rail routes to be analyzed in a Tier 1 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), developed a methodology to reduce the overall universe of alternative rail routes (existing, abandoned, or out-of-service) to a set of reasonable and feasible routes.
