Case Description

Project Description

The Detroit Intermodal Passenger Transportation Facility (Detroit IPTF) is a proposed multi-modal transit center in Detroit that is planned to be developed as a public-private partnership. In order to maximize the multi-modality of the proposed site and encourage sustainable growth patterns around the proposed Detroit IPTF, Quandel Consultants developed the transportation needs that the Detroit IPTF must accommodate.

Services Provided

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industrys standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
  • Planning Quandel Consultants led a series of engineering planning workshops with staff from the Michigan Department of Transportation and with public stakeholders in order to determine the shell space within the Detroit Intermodal Passenger Transportation Facility (Detroit IPTF) that is needed to support “system connectivity” tenants such as Amtrak, M-1 Rail, Intercity bus, and local transit service operators. The workshops resulted in the identification of the needs and desires of MDOT and stakeholders, the constraints of the project, and project elements requiring shell space. This data informed the Request for Proposal for a Master Developer.
