The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) held its 4th Annual High-Speed Rail Policy Forum on November 29th in Washington, D.C. Leaders from the high speed rail industry around the country and world attended the forum and heard presentations on Innovative Financing and advocacy strategies in high-speed rail, enjoyed a lively discussion of on-time performance, and were updated on Capitol Hill happenings.
Melanie Johnson, Principal at Quandel and Chair of the APTA HSIPR Programs Committee, developed the Policy Forum program, organized the speakers and moderators, and moderated one of the sessions.
